Since its opening in Tokyo in 2015, SH GALLERY has been at the forefront of contemporary art, consistently pushing boundaries and challenging conventional perspectives.

Following its first participation in Art Fair Tokyo in 2016, the gallery has steadily expanded its presence at major art fairs both in Japan and internationally, presenting a series of bold and highly acclaimed exhibitions. Its innovative and daring curatorial style has sparked conversation among art enthusiasts, establishing SH GALLERY as a vital force in the contemporary art scene.

In 2021, the gallery relocated to Harajuku, Tokyo, marking a new phase of growth and creative ambition. In June 2023, SH GALLERY expanded its presence to Seoul with the opening of SH GALLERY SEOUL, establishing a meaningful bridge between Korean collectors and Japanese contemporary art. During its active years, the Seoul space contributed to the gallery’s cross-cultural dialogue and helped broaden its influence across Asia.
