Tomio Koyama Gallery opened in 1996 in Saga-cho, Koto-ku, Tokyo. The gallery moved its location to Roppongi in 2016, followed by an additional new space in Tennozu (2022) and Kyobashi (2024). This year in November, the gallery is expecting to open another space in Kyobashi. Since its opening the gallery has been participating in international art fairs, being the first point of introduction for young Japanese artists. The gallery represents Japanese artists such as Kishio Suga, Mika Ninagawa, Hiroshi Sugito, as well as internationally acclaimed artists such as Stephan Balkenhol, Tom Sachs and Richard Tuttle. Recently the gallery also represents artists from South East Asia: Sopheap Pich, Shooshie Sulaiman and Khvay Samnang. Tomio Koyama Gallery introduces diverse range of artists and aims at developing the contemporary art market with original perspectives.
