GALLERY KTO is a contemporary art gallery located in Harajuku and Shinjuku, Tokyo.
KTO means "someone's" in Russian, and we hope to be a link between the artist and the viewer in this space, and we are constantly introducing new art.
Starting in Harajuku in 2019 with the exhibition
Now, we are particularly interested in up-and-coming young artists and mid-career/experienced artists who have been overlooked by art history. Artists whose names we do not usually hear or whose styles we do not see are not worthless, but are full of charm that has not yet been noticed. By dealing with works of art that defy the boundaries of painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance, and contemporary cutting-edge art derived from them, we will create value for each of them.
Currently, with Harajuku and Shinjuku as our main spaces, we also have space in Shibuya, and in cooperation with a beauty salon in Gaienmae, we hold about 48 exhibitions per year in 4 spaces.
Through these endeavors, we strive to provide a wonderful artistic experience.
