AKIO NAGASAWA Gallery | Publishing is dedicated to introducing Japanese postwar artists to the world through exhibitions and publications of their works.
We are active in two spaces, Ginza and Toranomon, and our programs are designed with each location in mind, taking into account the demographics of the people who gather there. In Ginza, a traditional district, we introduce master artists who have established careers, while in Toranomon, an office district, we mainly introduce artists whose style appeals to visitors who do not usually come into contact with art. In addition to organizing exhibitions, we also put as much effort into publishing collections of artworks as we do into planning exhibitions. We believe that the best way to appreciate art is to see it in person. However, you have to be there at the time and place of the exhibition to see it. On the other hand, in the form of a book, you can view it anytime, anywhere, as long as you have it in your possession.
We will continue to introduce excellent Japanese artists to the world through both exhibitions and publications.
