Koichi yamamura gallery is located in Azabujuban, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The gallery opened in the fall of 2021. It is owned by Koichi Yamamura, who runs "Eizendo Gallery" established in 1953. The gallery will be reopening in 2023 with a new concept.
The theme of the operation is to become a base for supporting and introducing artists who are active both in Japan and abroad, especially those who have not yet had many opportunities to show their works in Japan. We also hope that exhibitions and projects held at the gallery will serve as a hub for artist exchange and community interaction. We hope to build a new community in Azabu, a place with many embassies and international schools, where people from various countries live.
