Founded in 2013, Minnano Gallery is an art gallery based in Ueno, Tokyo.
The gallery supports the process through which values that begin with an artist’s subtle observations and perspectives gradually take shape within society. Through sustained exhibitions and dialogue, it connects artworks to broader social contexts.
Focusing primarily on artists in the early to mature stages of their careers, Minnano Gallery presents diverse practices including painting, photography, and installation. Beyond exhibitions, the gallery develops parallel platforms such as publishing, web-based serial projects, research, and archival initiatives, placing emphasis on making artists’ activities visible in layered and sustained ways.
As a point of connection between artists, collectors, institutions, and new audiences, Minnano Gallery functions not only as a physical space, but also as a place for sharing the time through which value is formed.
